- Old Major explains how Mr. Jones their cruel famer has taken advantage of their lives and how they are forced to do labor for nothing and just how cruel and pointless everything is. This insprires the animals and gives them all a thought of why they should revolt. He also introduced a pridefull rebellious song called Beasts of England.
- Our lives are meaningless! A revolution would mean a life where animals would prosper!!

- Old Major died three days after his speech yet it led every animal on the farm to be inspired. They saw what was happening to them and had revolution on their minds. One night Mr Jones did not feed them and they were starving so they revolted and broke into the food chambers causing Jones to come. They fought against him and his helpers. They did not give up. Previously, three boars were chosen to be leaders; Snowball, Napoleon and Squealer. They led in the battle and won against Jones and drove him out. They then started making Seven Commandments on how life on their new improved farm would go and made all animals equal. Their labour would now be to benefit themselfs and Manor Farm was renamed to Animal Farm.
- We are prepared for battle! Fight; get your vengance!!
- We shall get Manor Farm back!
- We have to stop them!!

- Mr Jones gets together with other farmers and they go to reclaim Manor Farm now Animal Farm. Snowball has long anticipated this,and is prepared because he studied attack tactics. Once they arrive they are met by Snowballs different attack fleets. Then, three horses, three cows and pigs emarged into battle. They all fought aganist Jones and more animals joined. They bit, kicked and attacked every human vicoioiusly. Every animal on the farm took vengance and attacked. The men ran away and Boxer realized he had killed one and never wanted to kill anyone since he just wants to be a peacefull animal yet Snowball says that Boxer should not feel any bit bad for this and that the only good human is a dead one. They held a celebration and had the flag run up, and sang Beasts of England, gave awards and honored the dead sheep. They named the battle the Battle of Cowshed and planned an anniversary.

- Snowball comes up with an idea for a Windmill on the farm. He draws up many plans and keeps expanding on the idea which makes other animals interested. Napoleon however, thinks it is a waste of time and resources and does not care and thinks what is important is animals learning to use firearms and focus on labor. Napoleon shows his dislike for the windmill ideas by urinating on Snowball's idea drawings. It is decided that they will put it to a vote whether or not to build the windmill. When the day came, Napoleon just shortly says that the building of the Windmill is nonsence and not worth it. Then, Snowball talks about all the good the Windmill could do to benefit the farm and the animals themselves. They could have electricity and hot and cold water and lights in the stalls and make labour so much easier. After hearing this, it is obvious that all the animals are in favor of building the windmill to better their lives. Right before the vote is to be cast, Napoleon, knowing he will lose, utters a strange high pitched noise. Suddenly, giant dogs burst in and savagely chase off Snowball. At first, the animals have no clue where these dogs came from and who they were, untill they remember they were Bluebell and Jessie's puppies that Napoleon had took. Napoleon then had Snowball explain to the animals that this was done so that the animals did not make the wrong choice and that this was all in their best interest and that he really did want to build a windmill but Snowball had stolen this idea. Which is a lie but this is the start of his manipulating the animals, Now they are set to build the windmill in Napoleon's command.
