- Della only has $1.87, so she sells her hair for $20 to buy Jim a chain for his watch. Shes now worried that Jim won't think she looks pretty since she cut her hair.
- RESOLUTION
- As Della prepared the table for dinner Jim walks in after a long day of work and is shocked that Della cut her most prized possession, her hair.
