This is Duke. He has been acting really weird lately. He has stopped eating, losing weight and has been making a weird noise. I think a cough.

I can see. He has lost a lot of weight. And his temperature is dangerous. A normal horses temp is 99 to 100. 0. His is 106. 0.

Maybe, the symptoms you are telling me are close to the symptoms of Strangles. I'm going to do some tests and come back in two days.
Do you think he has Strangles?
Is there anything I should be watching for.
Keep an eye on him. If later today or tomorrow he has a bump on his neck call me right away. And for now I would quarantine him.
