  • The Albany Meeting, 1754
  • Join or die!
  • Prime Minister, 1757
  • British and France always compete over wealth and empire. When France found rich resources in Ohio River Valley giving them money, British clearly wanted the money and power.
  • The Fall of Quebec and Montreal, 1759
  • British tried to make a treaty with the Iroquois. Ben Franklin's idea was for each colony to give up some of its power. Though Iroquois declined and none of the colonist agreed.
  • Treaty of Paris, 1763
  • William Pitt became prime minister. He was a great military planner, he sent more trained red coats to America to fight. He planned on raising taxes at the end of the war.
  • New Policies from the British, 1763
  • The British went on a badly guarded path and shocked the guards and defeated them. Leaving no location of France in America.
  • The treaty made France give up Canada and their land in America. This decided the end of France in America.
  • The British only let 10,000 troops in America. Colonist weren't allowed to settle on the west side of the Appalachian Mountains. British plans to raise taxes and tweak trade rules
