- Once upon a time, anold man lived with his second while both had one daughter from a previousmarriage. The wife encouraged her own daughter to rest all day and do nothingwhich made her become very lazy.
- However, she would lether step daughter work all day and do all the chores. The step daughter wasvery kind and did all the work without complaining.
- One day, the gooddaughter told her father that she should work and earn money so that they canmanage the house better. The father agreed and thought that it was a greatidea. The father wished his daughter luck while the wife thought that she wouldtake the money that the step daughter earns.
- One day while the goodgirl was walking, a pear tree begged her to break its dry twigs. The girlhelped the tree and moved forward. After a while, another tree asked the girlto dig the soil near its roots so that it can recover well. The girl helpedthis tree and kept on helping everyone on her way.
- The girl saw a large palace and the sevenfairies inside it asked her to clean the six rooms and not open the seventhroom. The girl was honest and did her job properly so the fairies gave her alot of money. Since the girl kept her promise and did not open the seventh room,the fairies took her there and gave her diamonds and gold.
- The step mother was jealous and wanted herdaughter too to go work and earn money, however, the daughter couldn't find anyjob because she was already lazy and was not willing on helping anybody. Unlikeher diligent sister who was trusted by everybody to work.
