- One day Demeter had to go outside of the village to get water from a different river because the main one was said to be experiencing a drought. She was in charge of all of the crops in her village so she needed to collect more water. Demeter makes her way down to the water stream thankfully without any problems with her goats and got water. Demeter had wondered why no one had ever gotten water here.
- Who goes there!?

- Zues, it is I, Demeter, the goddess of crops.
- Demeter, and to what do I owe this visit?
- This story takes place a long time ago in a small villlage called the village of crops. One day a fairly young lady named Demeter was in her shed in which she lived in with her two goats, Glycerin and Snorte. Glycerin was a frail female goat who was overall very obedient. Snorte on the other hand was a rather naughty goat. For instance, if the goats had to be walked down to the river to get a drink of water, Snorte would become difficult to handle. He would keep his feet planted into the ground and would not listen to Demeter. But there are some rare occasions when Snorte would listen. But unfortunately that would not be today.
- Before he got to even curse her, Demeter tried to take off with her goats but Sorte stood glued to the ground chewing on a carrot. Demeter though about trying to carry him but he almost weighed more than her.
- It’s a miracle!
- Then demeter noticed something so wonderful that she almost believed she was dreaming. There was a grand wooden table with a feast including goat, cabbage, carrots, tomatoes, and puddings of almost any flavor. Demeter quickly approached the table and just as she was grabbing a piece of bread a loud voice bal oomed, “WHO GOES THERE?” Demeter quickly jumped back and saw Zues the king of gods looking down at her from a big gray cloud.

- How dare you disobey me the king of all gods!? Now you shall be really punished
- You really think you can escape me?
- Zues ask Demete why she is here and she explains she is here to get water from the sgtream beacus her village is expirencing a drough but zues gets mad and threatens to curse her and ever village to never have water again.
- Later the next day the village was awoken with a feast!

- Zeus had time to curse her village not knowing about Demeter’s powers to manipulate weather similar to him.A few days later Demeter finally decided to risk her powers and make it rain in her village she couldn’t bare to see her village suffer. As rain started to sprinkle down she could hear all of the commotion going on in her village. Then she hears a loud boom and zues appears in her shed.
- Rain at last!
- Zues decides to curse her but reward her village because he thinks they deserve better than Demeter. This time he rewards the village with a large feast and one very special main course. He tells Demeter she will be the only one not enjoying the feast because she will be the feast. Demeter woul be the main course. Demeter didn't reret her choice she felt seh wdi what was righ for her people.
- The whole village fond a feast and they enjoyed it. No one realized Demeter was one and n oe realized what the feast was really made out of the chicken to be specific.Some things are not what they seem.
