- Your information is at risk! Here's what you need to know, there has been numerous incidents regarding to data leaks involving TikTok, being the leading cause of this huge impact. These includes, an event that has happened when a dark web team called SOCRadar has detected a new alleged data leak in the TikTok platform. The leaked data has been reportedly in JSON format, (basically a text-based data exchange format) and it originated on TikTok.com. The data leak is unknown for now but it is reported that the data size is 178GB.

- How can we avoid this happening to us?Well there are many ways you can ensure your personal information doesn't leak such as; be careful of who you follow on the platform, sometimes hackers or scams pops up into your following. Think before you post or say anything that can be exposed to the public. Don't put down anything that is personal and confidential to you in your bio. Examples can be what school you go to, your birthday, phone number, where you live, etc; Be careful of who you tell, do you trust that person? Is it worth telling them?
