- I "love" Daisy.
- So it is true...
- Gatsby cancels all of his parties since he only had him to get Daisy's attention and fires his servant toprevent gossip.
- Nick goes to Tom and Daisy's house for lunch and finds Gatsby and Jordan there too. Gatsby is shocked and cannot believe Daisy's child is real. Daisy does not show much interest in her daughter. Gatsby and Daisy cannot hide their feelins for one another during the afternoon.
- Tom and George have are in the same situation.
- George
- Daisy and Gatsby go into the city after Daisy asks Gatsby. Tom becomes certain of their feelings towards each other.
- Tom acts on Daisy's recommendation of going to New York all together. Nick, Jordan, and Tom ride together in Gatsby's car while Daisy and Gatsby ride in Tom's car.
- While stopping for gas, Nick, Tom, and Jordan find out George Wilson has uncovered his wife's act of adultery, not the exact person, but he plans to move her to the West.
