- Jane and Jill were at the mall having fun. Well Jill was trying to leave and Jane realized she had left her bag. But Jill was in a hurry and asked Jane to throw her bag. From the ground to where Jill is standing is 10 feet. Jane wants to find out how many feet it is from her to Jill.The angle of Jill to the floor is 700 and the angle of Jane to Jill is 500.

- She realized that she needed to use the Law of Sines. So she came up with this equation. 10 / sin 500 = x / sin 700. She then cross multiplied and got this equation. x = 10 sin 700 / sin 500. She then plugged this equation into her calculator. She found that x = 12.3. So she has the through the bag 12.3 feet.
- Jane was walking home when she ran into her young friend Maggie.
