- Have you ever heard about Photosynthesis?
- Oh yeah I've heard of it, Isn't when you turn sunlight into food
- Its when your chloroplast captures the light and stores it in the pigment chlorophyll . Then the Stomata open up to collect the carbon dioxide
- Isn't there more to photosynthesis?
- yeah plants use the water and the carbon dioxide to make glucose. They used the light independent reaction. But before the next stage they use dependent light to use the energy and make an ATP
- That surely cant be all to photosynthesis
- No Then you need to do cellular respiration(ATP). The chlorophyll molecule then needs to replace the electron it lost. It takes an electron from the water. Taking the electron from the water makes the oxygen
- Not yet. There is a light independent reaction the the chloroplast and cytoplasm. Its creates a pathway so all of the glucose(food) can get to all of the parts and to the mitochondria

- Nope in short terms Photosynthesis is the process by which plants use sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide to create oxygen and energy in the form of sugar.And the formula for photosynthesis is 6 CO2 + 6 H2O + light -- C6H12O6 + 6 O2.
