- Once there was a king named Theseus. He was the powerful king of Athens and was soon to marry Hippolyta, queen of the Amazons. Suddenly an angry man walked in my king, my daughter, Hermia, is not obeying me. She will not marry this man Demetrius who I have chosen for her. She loves another man, Lysander. Hermia if you don't marry Demitrius you will be executed!
- I hate you!

- Fearing for their lives, Hermia and Lysander decide to flee to a far off country where they can marry in peace. To do this they must flee through the enchanted forest. Hermia wants to tell her best friend Helena who loves Demitrius, the man who wishes to marry Hermia. As soon as they were gone Helena rushed to tell Demetrius in the hope that he would like her.

- Meanwhile, Oberon and Titania, king and queen of the fairies, were rowing over a small boy. I want him as myfollower! Oberon shouted He is the son of my best friend, when she died I was told to look after him! fairies, away! Titania yelled causing the trees to shake.Oberon called his slave puck get the love flower and make Titania fall in love with a beast!
- Demetrius and Helena went looking for Hermia and Lysander.Why can't you love me? I will always love you. cried HelenaI feel sick when I look at you! Demetrius repliedthey didn't know that Oberon was watching them. He called Puck to him give the Athenean man the love juice and he will love this woman. Puck did as he asked but there were two Athenean men in the wood.
- Puck accidentally gave the love juice to Lysander, the first person he saw was Helena who walked into the clearing. He fell in love with her and offered to kill Demetrius. You fool, you gave the juice to the wrong man. You must undo your error! Oberon yelled at Puck. The fairy ran from the clearing, found Demetrius and gave him the potion. When he saw Helena he fell in love, poor Helena thought they were mocking her.
- Puck put Lysander into enchanted sleep and when he woke he loved Hermia (Demetrius was still in love with Helena). The next day Theseus and Hermia's father were out hunting when they came across the 4 lovers sleeping in the wood. The lovers awoke to the sound of hoof beats. I have news, Theseus said You may all come back to Athens and get married! And you all get puppies they were joyous and lived happily.
