- I´m so broke!!!
- I have nothing to wear to it. Nor do I have any pretty jewels.
- Why don´t you wear your theater dress? And you could ask Madame for a necklace i´m sure she would lend you one.
- At the beginning of the story Madame Loisel complains that she id broke. She has always wanted to be rich and dress fancy but has never been able to.
- Sure you can have the diamond one on the table.
- Can you lend me a necklace perhaps?
- Madame Loisel´s husband come home with an envelope which he got from work. The envelope contains an invitation for Madame to go to the company he works for at the Ministry.
- Madame Louise says she has no dress nor jewels to wear to the ministry. Her husband sugests that she wear her theater dress and then ask her friend Madame for a necklace.
- OHHH NOOO!
- I lost her necklace!!!
- Madame Louisel goes to her friend Madame to ask her to lend her a necklace. Madame lends her a diamond necklace, to use.
- Madame Louisel and her husband go to the ministry. Madame is hapy becuase she has a diamond necklace and a pretty dress.
- Madame Louisel lost her friends diamond necklace that se lend her to use. She goes to search at stores and finds one that is very expesive so she asks people to lend her money to buy it. She finally bought it and gave it to her friend, then a few days later she told her she lost it. Her friend explained that it was a fake which was way less expensive.
