- Antonio I love to read and study can you help me with the requirements of being Duke?
- Prospero was telling Antonio, his brother that he, right now, doesn't feel like he could fullfill all the requirements of being the Duke of Milan and so he asks Antonio if he could help wit the responsibilities but Antonio gets greedy and thinks that because he is doing most of the work that he should be the Duke instead.
- yes except im doing all the work, why cant I be Duke?
- Prosperos qualities are that he loves to read and study about many different things. He feels that with the help of his brother, he'll be able to put his focus more on reading and studying rather then putting all his focus on being the Duke.
- Antonio feels that he could become the Duke of Milan and have power over many, even his own brother. He plans to kill his brother so that he would become Duke.
- Power?
- Antonio sent out Prospero and others onto a poorly made boat so that Prospero ended up dying at sea without anybody knowing that it was Antonio's idea to kill him.
- Prospero and the rest of the crew ended up on a island except the rest of the crew was spread around the island but Miranda and Prospero stayed together. They were welcomed by food, water and other necessities that Gonzalo provided for them.
- Prosperos plan was to send out Ariel to cause a storm so that Antonio and everyone else on the ship could end up on the island so that Prospero can get his revenge on his brother and lead him to the island.
