Storyboard Text

  • In 2000, I co-founded the company Laboratorio de la Ciudad de México S.C. (LCM), together with architect Fernando Romero.
  • I was born in 1972 in Mexico City into a family of architects. My parents are mathematical physicists and founders of Colegio Bilbao, in the Federal District.
  • I also created a research workshop called MX.DF, which tries to establish and understand the relationships that make up the production of both public and private space in Mexico City.
  • I´m studied architecture at the Universidad Iberoamericana,8 from which he graduated in 1996.
  • In 2005, I became a professor of Design in the career of Architecture and Urbanism at the Universidad Iberoamericana.
  • The intervention of the Botanical Garden of Culiacán was one of my first projects of Tatiana Bilbao Estudio in 2004 and one of my favorites.
  • Exhibition Hall at Jinhua Architecture Park, also from 2004, was my first project of international stature by Tatiana Bilbao Estudio.
  • In 2004, I founded the company Tatiana Bilbao S.C.
  • I have been recognized with several awards such as the Kunstpreis Berlin, the Global Award for Sustainable Architecture by the LOCUS Foundation in 2014, and the 2017 ArchitzierA+ Award of Honoree Impact, along with the 2020 Tau Sigma Delta Gold Medal and the 2019 Marcus Prize Award.
