- What's Santa bringing you guys this year?
- Santa's bringing me a bike because I was so good this year!
- I asked my mom for a new doll
- Didn't you ask Santa for anything!?
- You know,,fat guy, climbs down your chimney...leaves gifts?!?
- Who is Santa?
- Whaatt!?? You've never heard of Santa?/
- No way they really believe in Santa...right?!?!
- While discussing the upcoming Christmas break, I realize everyone is talking about what Santa will bring them for Christmas.
- Well, love Santa is a legend created long ago to bring happiness to kids all over the world.
- People celebrate according to their beliefs and cultures.
- Mama!! Who is Santa..and how come i've never heard of him?
- I don't know what they're talking about, in my house my mom buys the gifts. Everyone is looking at me like I'm speaking another language.
- So...not everyone thinks like me??What does that mean?
- Does everyone believe in God?
- Does every kid have a grown up looking after them?
- Grits...sugar or salt?
- So what else is different ?
- Now at home, I can't believe they all think a fat guy comes to all their houses with gifts in one night. I also can't understand why they all know who he is and I do not.

- Mom explains that people believe in different things, and that each family practiced their own beliefs and taught their children things they believe to be right.
- Later that night I began to think, what else is different at other people's houses than in mine? My mind was now aware that everyone is not raised the same and some of their beliefs may differ from mine. As a kid, this blew my mind
- The world is larger than my little bubble and as I got older I learned that in order to survive you have to adapt and be aware that everyone DOES NOT think like YOU!!!
