- God Promised Abraham that his family would come a great nation, and that all families of the earth would be blessed through him. Abraham's descendants would be more numerous that the ountless stars in heavens .

- the time of peace and prosperity in Egypt under sympathetic rulers ended for the Israelites when they were enclaved by ruel pharaohs' who burdened them with he backbreaking  jobs of making bricks and constructing public buildings. This oppressive slary  devastated the Israelites, and they yearned for freedom. Hundreds of years later there dreams were answered by God an a man nam
- Abraham trusted God and set of to Canaan with his family ,to the promise land . During this time Sarah had a baby boy named Isaac.
- Moses went to Egypt to tell pharaoh to let the Israelites go 
- Moses led the Israelites to the promise land. 
- Moses went to the top of mount Sinai and prayed to God .God then gave Moses the Mosaic Law later called the Ten commandments which was the Law and rules the Israelites later named the Jews had to follow.
