  • Paul uses Christ's body as a metaphor to analyze Corinth's church to say that even if you are not the most important part of the body like a foot you are still important because you make the body function. Also he says that even though there can not be many bodies in one body they re all "one body" because they were all baptized into that body no matter if you are Greek or Jewish. This also means that everyone has their own quicks and gifts, which are everyone's spiritual gifts.
  • You are all important and an important part in this body.
  • In a more simple analogy Paul is saying that everyone is perfect in their own way and that there is no "i" in team. We are given talents that help us and others. With these talents we have to work together no matter who we are or what we look like.
  • There is no "i" in team. We have to work together and that is how the world functions.
  • We are one body with many members.
  • Paul writes about how the church should be the body of Christ. He did not mean that literally but as an analogy.
