- Hi my name is Ava Strum.
- A little bit about me is that have I'm 9 years old, I have blonde hair, green eyes, and family means a lot to me.
- Every break my sisters Julia and Ali, my cousin Brett, my mom, my dad, my grandparents, and my aunt Reni would go on vacation together. We were all very close.
- But this is a story about how my close family became detached relatives to me.
- Today my Aunt and my cousin are coming to NYC to visit us for spring break
- I am so excited to see my aunt and cousin!!!
- When my cousin an aunt walked in, a blonde woman I had never seen before entered behind them.
- This is my work friend Lisa, she is going to be spending the weekend with us
- Why did Aunt Reni bring her work friend on vacation with her?
- It is Julia's Bat Mitzvah night and she barely knows Lisa. Everyone in our family will be there and I don't want them focussing on meeting Lisa rather than Julia
- I don't want to take the attention from our family away from Julia on her special night
- Lisa is my family and she means a lot to me. I think it is necessary that she is there the night Julia becomes a woman
