My name is Robert Brown. I a botanist, loved looking plants underneath microscopes. There were plenty of plants in my lab so I was constantly looking and different shapes of cells until one day I noticed something..
Hmm.. I just noticed this reoccurring item in each cell..
I researched a bit further and camethen came to a conclusion. Every cellhas what I called a nucleus. Neverhas anyone discovered this part of the cell before, so it was a groundbreaking discovery!
I MUST share this with everyone. This discovery could change the science world as we know it
I began to get my discovery out to the public so others could learn and research about the nucleus as well. We needed to know more about it since there was so little known in 1828.
Although, not every scientist wasopen to these new ideas. Somethought my ideas were inaneyet others excepted and let it helpthem continue to discover moreabout cells and their functions.
My discovering of a cells nucleus helped me gain my rightful place in the cell theory history. My discoverygoes down in history as one that is used in text books and worksheets around the globe!
