- athens forms the delian league, a disguised hegemonic empire that swear oath to keep athenss safe, to accompany this, athens built a border wall to their nearby city piraeus
- Sparta, a city state warrrior society located south of athens, form the peloponessian league. Sometime later, a spartan messanger tells one of the two monarchs one of their allies, korinthia disliked athens and wanted sparta to deal with athens, and would contibute a large sum of drachma if they did, so the king accepted korinthś offer and sent an army to seige athens
- Now worried, the Athenian senate decided to send an army out to slow down the spartans, led by a wealthy Strategos, the athenian army met the spartans in the borders of attica, the moral of the athenians plummeted after they heard the battle songs of the spartan army, the athenian army fled back into the city after thair defeat.
- Now beseiging athens, the spartan army watched as the ever so seemingly infinitive train of supplies went into athens, in frustration, the spartans turned to burning the attic countryside
- Kleon
- There is a plauged tainted grain that arrives in Athens, leaving many sick, or dead, Perikles dies from the plauge leaving Kleon to defend and lead Athens
- although Athens had held during the war, the city soon found itself overwhelmed, and with their new leader, Kleon, dead they found themselves in hot water, sometime later the athenians lost a major battle and their city was forced to surrender
