- today we are going to create our own class Facebook group. We will use this group as a way for you to all communicate with each other as well as your teachers when we are not learning together.
- so we are going to be allowed to use Social Media for School?
- No, the group will be a private school group. Though social media can be a great resource we need to make sure we use it responsibly and safely to protect everyone.
- So I can’t add my other friends?
- Yes, Social Media can have lots of benefits and provides a great way to quickly connect with peers and share things like images, thoughts, and questions. Everyone will be invited to join our class group and it will only be accessible to students in our class and your teachers.
- You will be able to post questions, ideas, thoughts, or even fun information about yourself. This will allow you to also get to know your classmates better.
- So, if you are not available, I could post a question for someone else in the class to answer?
- Exactly! E-learning can be difficult because we are not always online together so this will help us to all collaborate. Facebook will allow us to communicate in a more fun and interactive environment.
