- Jane walks into her local grocery store without a mask on
- Hi ma'am! My name is Kevin and I'm an employee here. Would you mind putting a mask on before continuing shopping?
- Jane becomes frustrated with Kevin and his request
- I've been shopping here my whole life and never had to wear one before! It's my right not to if I don't want to!
- Kevin responds to Jane, sharing his insights
- And a recent study showed that 92% of Americans actually wear a mask before leaving their house!
- Well, you see, some of our employees won't be able to come to work if not everyone wears masks because they won't feel safe. That's why everyone else here in the store are wearing masks. They wan't our business to be able to stay open, just like I'm sure you do.
- Jane thinks about what Kevin just told her
- Wow, I never thought about it like that. Of course I want this place to stay open..it means so much to me and my family. And if everybody else is doing it..maybe so should I?
- Of course! We are all just trying to doing our part.
- Kevin lends Jane a helping hand
- Okay..I'll try it out. Thanks so much!
