  • Today, we will be establishing our socialist state!
  • In this day, many protesters went out and protested because they wanted better working conditions, but after they were shot dead. A bloody massacre happened. This strengthened the call for a socialist society. This was also because the ruler Tsar Nicholas II's weak and ineffective rule over the country.

  • Lenin began making public speeches and established a platform of "Peace", "Bread" and "Land". He made peace by retreating from the war, created bread and land by redistributing land among the peasants and food to the cities, He created a slogan, and the main goal was to improve the lives of people.
  • Joseph Stalin had became the new leader of the Soviet Union following the death of Vladimir Lenin. Stalin wanted to rapidly industrialize the county and improve its military using a series of 5-year plans, but that plan caused economic dislocation, leading many people to rebel against him.

  • As time passed, Joseph Stalin and Leon Trotsky discovered that their beliefs were very different, as Trotsky believed in the idea of "Permanent Revolution", believing that the revolution should continue until communism is achieved worldwide. In contrast, Stalin believed that the Soviet Union should focus more on socialism within the country. Their conflicts rose quickly, and Leon Trotsky was eventually exiled from the Soviet Union.
