Starting off with a point. The full stop I drew on my book is an example of point. A point is a basic unit in geometry, Point is represented by a dot. Point has no dimension that is no lenght or breadth.
Next up Line segment... That pencil is an example of line segment. Line segment is a part of a line. It has two endpoints on both of it's sides.
Ohh Hi there!.. I am Emma and today I am going to tell you everything I know about Basic Geometry
Last up is ray... A torch with light on is an example of ray. A ray is a part of a line which has one endpoint and goes endlessly in one direction
Next is Plane... This table is an example of plane. A plane is a smooth, flat, 2D surface that extends infinetly in all directions. A plane doesn't have boundaries. Plane has two dimensions lenght and breadth
Next is line... A number line is counted as an example of line. Line is a collection of points that extends infinietly in both directions along a straight path. Line has one dimension, that is lenght
Now let's talk about different types of lines
Next is parallel lines... The wood on the chairs which is vertical is an example of parallel lines. Two or more on a plane do not meet each other however far they are extended hence they are called Parallel lines.
First up Perpendicular line. My favorite kite here is an example of perpendicular lines. Two intersecting lines meet each other forming 90 degree angle is called perpendicular lines
Next is intersecting line. Two lines on a plane meet each other at one point is called as intersecting lines. Two lines can intersect only at one point called the point of intersection. Oh, those are my scissor's. That is an example of intersecting lines
Next up is right angle. This angle has an exact measure of 90°.
Lets start with acute angle. This angle has a measure greater than 0° but less than 90°
Next is straight angle, This angle has exact measure of 180°.
Thank you!!... I hope you guys understood everything. Now I gotta go and sleep. Byee
Last up is reflex angle, This angle is greater than 180° but less than 360°.
Now let's learn about angles...
Next is obtuse angle, This angle is greater than 90° and less than 180°
