- The decision of Walter investing in the liquor store is very important because it impacted the family very heavy due to him eventually losing the money. Walter decided to do this because he wanted to be there for his family and he wanted his son to gain a head start on life but unfortunately he ended up making things worse for him and the family. I chose this moment from the story because it was one of the most impactful moments., the decision changed everything for the whole family.

- Walter losing the money in the liquor store deal is very impactful because when Walter lost the money, he also lost it for Beneatha's school tuition as well. because of this she breaks down claiming that Walter took her future away from her. Her dream was to become a doctor but ever since he lost the money their relationship was never the same. I chose this moment because it shows us how a simple screw up can change everything for someone. This mess up destroyed Walter's relationship with his daughter.
- I'm so sorry
- The family moving into a white neighborhood was very impactful because at the time segregation was in effect and black people were being treated wrongly so them moving into a white neighborhood was very dangerous. Mama decided to do it because she wanted to fulfill a dream she had with her husband also she believed that the house would positively impact the family because in her eyes it was one step closer to building a happy family. I chose this moment because it dealt with the issue of racism and segregation back then. If the younger's weren't safe they could've gotten seriously hurt due to their skin color.
