- The Roman Emperor got a letter from the Byzantine Empire. He was shocked what the letter read, the Byzantine Empire needed help. They did not have the resources to make weapons and asked Rome if they could trade some weapons for their oil. The Emperor did not like the idea of trading their weapons, but they needed the oil for medicine. Many Rome citizens have fallen ill, and for this reason, the Roman Emperor knew what he had to do.
- The Rome Emperor accepted their trade and got weapons of great quality. He shipped the weapons toward Byzantine, and Byzantine sent their ship to Rome.
- The Roman Emperor gave the oil to the medics and had them produce as much medicine as possible. After a week, the same people had no results. They gave it another week, and still nothing, They then knew, the oils they were given were fake. The medics then tested the oil and confirmed their suspicions.
- The Roman emperor called a meeting with the citizens, and told them about the situation with the medicine. They were outraged, because they worked really hard to hold up their end of the deal. They decided that they were gonna surprise attack, with new weapons. They manufactured better weapons than the ones that they gave them, and went on their way to fight.
- They snuck up behind the army base and attacked. Each Byzantine soldier was not a match against the new weapons.
- The Roman Empire won and asked for four times the amount of oil they traded. They accepted this oil and kept peace over the situation.
