- This is a plantation manor! This is an example of the unfairness of ascribed status, because most slaves here got born into their life of labor. They couldn't control this status, and sadly it caused them to endure this life of slavery.
- This is a pre-industrial society so we have to do the labor, and there aren't tools to help us! Mercy, we did nothing except be born!
- There's so many roles in this palace alone!
- As medival royalty and as a woman, it is my role to birth a child and find someone to take care of it. Typically, I'm an absent person in my child's life.
- I am in constant struggle with role conflict. As a maid, I'm supposed to clean, but as a friend to the princess, I'm supposed to give her all my attention. As a mother I have to rake care of my kid, but yet again, as a maid, I am at the palace caring for another family.
- As the daughter of royalty in a medival time era, I struggle with role strain. Being a good daughter clashes with being a good wife, since daughters are considered well-spoken and intelligent while a good wife is known as obedient and submissive to the husband.
