  • Prideful"There was pride in Casey's bearing and a smile lit Casey's face. "This quote supports the character trait because it actually said that Casey's bearing ( stance/pose ) was full of pride. He was in a stance that was full of pride, he was confident, he was full of himself. He thought he was better than other people.
  • Hot-headed"The sneer is gone from Casey's lip, his teeth are clenched in hate, he pounds with cruel violence his bat upon the plate"This quote supports this character trait because ( hot - headed means to get angry easily ) he got really angry even though he only got two strikes in the game, there is still a chance left to be able to go to a different base or run to home run. He also got really angry even though he was the one that didn't even attempt to hit the ball, so that proves that he's hot-headed.
