- The Estates-General was a general assembly representing the French estates of the realm summoned by Louis XVI to propose solutions to Frances's financial problem. I had a step forward in the direction of democracy.
- The Congress of Vienna
- It needs to though out Europe
- French have to much power
- The Tennis Court Oath showed the growing unrest against Louis XVI and laid the foundation for later events such as the declaration of the rights of man and the citizen storming the Balsillie. I think that it is a step away
- The Reign of Terror
- You are under arrested for being a suspect in the radicals
- The Declaration of the Rights of Man and citizen was passed by France's National Constituent Assembly in August of 1789. Was a fundamental document of the French Revolution that granted civil rights to some commoners although it excluded a significant segment of the French population.
- Storming of the Bastille
- We want this to change
- The congress of Vienna brought the balance of power in Europe and prevented further conflict, they developed what became known as the Concert of Europe. I think that this was a step in the right direction for democracy.
- The Reign of Terror was a dark and violent period of time during the French Revolution. The Radicals took control of the revolutionary government, they arrested and executed anyone who they suspected. I think that it was a step in the wrong direction for democracy.
- The storming of Bastille symbolically marked the beginning of the French Revolution in which the monarchy was overthrown and a republic setup. I think that it was a step in the wrong direction for democracy.
