- The Parker Family comes home from school one Friday afternoon. Adam, Jake, Avery, Isaac, and Isabella settle in at the front door. Mom and Dad comes to the door to greet them. Only Baby Emma is sleeping.
- Matthew's Hospital Room
- Jake calls his 2 friends, Allison and Jacob. He's concerned about his little brother, Isaac, according to his behavior. Isaac had been behaving strangely for almost a week. Jake gets worried for his brother.
- Isaac and Isabella's Room
- Allison and Jacob comes to Jake's house the next day. It's a sunny Saturday morning, and they sit outside on their patio swing. Jake tells Alison and Jacob what his little brother told him last night...
- Avery's Room
- "Isaac has been acting awkward because he had found out that the reason his friend had not gone to school for more than 2 weeks was because his friend had cancer. He was terribly sad and disappointed."
- At night, Mom comes in to check on the twins, Isabella and Isaac. Mom is also worried about Isaac because she knew the truth about Isaac's friend, Matthew, weeks ago from Matthew's mom. She tries to find a way to help Isaac and his behavior.
- Dad goes into Avery's room to check on her. Avery loved the way that her dad always came in to check on her. She always knew that he would be there for her when she needed help. They say their goodnights and Avery drifts off to sleep.
