  • Grendel arrives at Herot, mercilessly attack and killing the Geats. Eating them one by one.

  • Upon Beowulf's arrival, King Hrothgar welcomes Beowulf soon after Wulfgar has escorted him to Herot. Beowulf makes a request to the KIng as an exchange for his bravery-being alone with the help of his men, should purge all evil. This quote describes an Epic Hero, one that is on a quest.

  • As the battle continues, Beowulf has the upper hand as he attacks Grendel with his bare hands. Soon, the fight has stopped as Grendel has been grabbed. Beowulf has grabbed this monster and what comes next will be gruesome. Beowulf rips Grendel arm off as the beast escape.

  • A lonely cave illed with gold, treasure, and swords.This caved is called The Monster Lair and is were Grendel lives.As Grendel returns from his battle against Beowulf he falls down from the blood he's lost. Shortly, after he dies.
  • As the death of her child haunts her at sight she seek revenge, Grendel's mother attacks Herot and retrieves Grendel's arm- which was held as a trophy by Beowulf- and flees to an underwater cave. Beowulf follows her and soon kills her with the sword that had magically powers from those of giants.
  • 50 years later...Beowulf has to defend his people by killing a fire-breathing dragon. Beowulf along with the help of Wiglaf successfully kills the dragon. Despite this, Beowulf later dies by a wound on his neck caused by the same dragon;The monster came quickly toward him,Pouring out fire and smoke, hurryingTo its fate. (pg.26)
