The Licorice family lives in Jamaica in a small village called Boswell. The members of the Licorice family are Milton, Timmy and Grandpa. This story about a grandfather losing his leg in an accident and his grandchildren came up with a solution to get him back to normal again.
EXPOSITION
Milton came up with the idea of running a stall at the Christmas fair, so they can get money to buy Grandpa a buggy. They will need the help of Mrs. Chaney and Margaret to bake the pastries for the stall.
We could run a stall at the fair and get some money to buy Grandpa a buggy.
CONFLICT
The Cloud was successful at the Christmas fair. After they sold the goods, they made thirteen shillings and ten-pence half-penny. Grandpa unexpectedly arrived at the fair on his crutches and was very surprised when he saw what they accomplished.

Timmy and Milton were relieved when they heard the price of the buggy, then Allan Bent remined them that they didn't have a horse to draw the carriage. Milton had an idea to train Pal Joe (the donkey) by himself ,so that Pal Joe could draw the buggy.
Ride him, Milt!
CLIMAX
Grandpa made his way in The Cloud,(his buggy). Almost the whole church was looking because they didn't know about the buggy. Grandpa was very glad because he got to go to church and ring the bell. Milton and Timmy was pleased to see that The Cloud gave Grandpa a new life and he was back to his old self.
FALLING ACTION
RESOLUTION
Milton is now grown up and he is the owner/ co-owner of the vast Chaney estate. Grandpa sadly died of pneumonia on May, 1959. Milton is married to Margaret and has two children together, a boy and a girl. Their names are Milton Bradley and Ann Margaret. Timmy is yet unmarried and his Christmases are spent at the Chaney Great House. The buggy is in Milton's garage and The Cloud is disused but it is forever symbolic.
