This scene shows the House of reps. announcing the president after Henry Clay convinces them to choose John Q. Adams. Andrew Jackson's expression is showing how he feels the election was rigged because Henry Clay only supported John Q. Adams to get the job as the secretary of the state.

This Scene shows Henry Clay And John Q. Adams made the deal which was named "The Corrupt Bargain". Which was a big deal and was very unfair. This deal was made after they had announced the polls for who was going to be president. The polls showed that Jackson had the most,But he didn't pass the amount of votes needed to become president so it was up to the House of reps and Henry Clay was the Speaker of the house which gave him an advantage to make Adams become president.
