- When George Washington forced us out of Fort Dusquesne, he also had a stockade in Fort Neccesssity
- So this is the real reason for the attack on him?

- At the Albany Conference, the British asked the colonies to prepare for war and negotiate with the Iroquois Nation who did not want to align themselves with Britain. Ben Franklin issued the idea of the Albany plan of union, which was for the colonies to form federal governments. Ben Franklin then created the first political cartoon, Join or Die to convince the colonies to support the Albany Plan of Union. This did not work out.

- The British government wanted to remove the French. In April 1757 General Edward Braddock arrived in Virginia as the comander of the British forced in North America. Braddock then allied himself with Washington who worked as an unpaid voluntear. The French then decided to attack British troops, Braddock died. Thannkfully Washington was able to hold the British Force together.

- The Success of the attack on the British encouraged the Lenni-Lennape to begin attacks of the British people settling in Pennsylvania.This later on was the begginginto the 7 years war.
- When William Pitt became secretary the tide began to shift against the French, which meant Britain was finally getting some recognition. Pitt was very confident he can save the country better than anyone else. He put money, resources, and time into this which turned out successful. Eventually, the 7-year war ended. The signing of the Treaty of Paris then took place in 1763. The treaty gave Britain more reasources and vast new lands.
