- Over the last few years, I've learned a thing or two about myself.
- Specifically, I learned my love for animals. Meet my best friend, Petee.
- Woof!
- I met Petee during a hard time period in my life. Once I brought him home. I was able to become a better person.
- Let me introduce who I was before I met Petee. Also,to reveal how he helped me overcome obstacles. Lastly, how It influences me to this day.
- Around 14 years old, I moved in with my grandma. Due to my delinquent behaviors.
- What am I getting myself into? Annabelle is going to be quite the handful.
- I don't want to be here. I'm never coming out of my room. Whatever you say won't change anything.
- This hardheaded attitude of yours won't, get you anywhere.
- I hate this world and everything in it. It's only downhill from here.
- I wonder what I can do to help her. How to guide her down a healthier path.
- Maybe she needs a furry face to cheer her up.
- By chance would you like to take a look at the humane society?
- Fine. Anything to get out of this house
- We are only going to take a look.
- We are getting a dog?
- I don't know if getting her a dog is another responsibility I want to take on.
- I'm getting a dog.
- Can we keep him? Look how sad and scared he is.
- We can give him a home, but they said he still need to stay another week. To get shots and fixed.
- Don't worry little guy, I'll get you out of here. Give you a safe place to be. Goodbye for now

- This little dog is just like me. Scared, alone and needs someone to believe in them. I will give him the best second chance.
- Woof!
- Finally, after a week of trying to bring him home. Today is the day.
- You better take care of him.
- We can't give up on him. He's the only thing helping me get through this rough time.
- Petee has some serious behavior problems. The vet thinks we should bring him back due to the high risk.
- Petee has taught me that I feel better when I am helping in general. The progress within his behavior is encouraging.
- I have noticed that Petee has lightened your mood. You seem more passionate about helping him out.
- I might not be able to control some things. However, having a positive effect on the world is something I can influence.
- Overcoming that confusing time and realizing this effect. It influenced my decision on what I would like to gain from a future career.
- Today I am a college student hoping to peruse a career helping people. With the cards I was dealt I chose to make the best of my situation and grow as a person.
