  • Hi Ms Compliance Officer! How are you?I had few questions around Huddles and was wondering if you could please address them?
  • Hi there! I am doing very well, thank you! Hope the same with you!Sure! Happy to answer all your queries. Before we do that, let me ask you a question. Do you know what are Huddles and what is their purpose?
  • If I am not wrong, Huddles are short and regular meetings that are basically meant to enable groups of Employees working on the same set of activities to manage capacity and workflow processes and/or operational issues.
  • Very Good!As a matter of fact, they are also known as Open Team Meetings.Do you know what does that mean? It means that Huddles should never be used to discuss information related to Rating Committees specifically the Rating Recommendations, Rating Decisions, proposed criteria changes or Issuer Confidential information.
  • What about anticipated Rating Committee dates?
  • Well, it is generally not appropriate to share confidential information in huddles. It may be necessary, however, to share and discuss such information when necessary to manage capacity and workflow. E.g. general information about upcoming new work, information about the timing of Criteria projects, and also anticipated Rating Committee dates.
