- Jem looked around, reached up and gingerly pocketed a tiny shiny package.
- "I see it Scout! I see it-"
- We ran home, and on the front porch we looked at a small box patchworked with bits of tinfoil collected from chewing gum wrappers.

- "Indian heads, nineteen six and Scout, one of em's nineteen hundred. These are real old.
- "Naw, don't anybody much but pass by there, unless it's some grown persons-"
- "Jem you reckon that somebody's hiding place?"

- Lets use these items to build a hideout.
- Look at all this random stuff. This is the backyard of my neighbors who moved out. Their backyard leads into this big forest where we are.

- I wonder if this stuff belongs to anyone. We found this giant glass crystal ball thing. Do you think we should take it?

- I think we should. The people moved out, and we're technically not on their property, We're in the woods.

- I'll see you tomorrow!
- Yeah! We can go back to our hideout tomorrow. see ya!
