- They ask of you, with their offerings, The King of Thebes to rightfully save the City.
- In one kingdom, where a tragic plague started to occur, in the City of Thebes. There was a king named Oedipus.....
- The plague wherein, the citizens were dying and no one knew how to put an end to it, and so the people have gathered...
- Oh Priest, why have the people come here?
- I am most definitely aware ,that is why I have sent my brother-in-law, Creon, on finding out how to stop this plague.
- What did the oracle say?
- Creon has arrived just after King Oedipus' words....
- We must drive out the murderer of the previous King, King Lauis.
- And where must this murderer be?
- In this very land.
- I have already called for him.
- My lord, Tiresias, whose as good as and sees all like Apollo might be able to help...
- After King Oedipus told the Chorus that he'd end the plague himself, The Chorus said..
- Tiresias have finally arrived.
- What nonsense is this! GET OUT NOW!!
- No. Speak of what must happen to the City and where is this murderer?
- Okay then! The terrible curse will bestow upon you, you marrying your mother and killing your father, eventually will result to you being driven out of the City, being BLIND at that!
- Okay. Go on then!
- Tiresias, you came.

- No! Nothing would come out well of what I speak.
- What are you talking about?! I didn't plan anything nor want you out of your throne!
- WHAT NONSENSE IS THIS! Good thing I can see my sister coming here, so that she'll know what utter ridiculousness your aiming at me!
- After Tiresias left the palace, King Oedipus called out for Creon...
- Have you planned this to sabotage my throne?!
- I don't want to see you, I want you to be driven out of this land, NO, I WANT YOU DEAD.
