- In the brush house a scorpion was climbing down the rope witch Coyotito was sleeping in.When the baby cried and shook the rope the scorpion fell into the baby crib.The scorpion bit Coyotito. Kino heard the sound of evil.

- To gain money to get the doctor to see there son they went to find pearl.While finding pearls they saw a glow coming from the water and he went down to see what it was.He found the pearl of the world.It was a big as a seagulls egg
- chapter 5
- Having the pearl of the world the doctor came to see Coyotio and he said he would be fine and will recover.The doctor asked how they would pay, and Kino said he has found the pear of the world.It was everything the village has been talking about.
- Chapter 6
- The pearl was evil and after he was rejected from the pearl Kino was going to a place where they will take it for full price. Kino was attacked and they knew the pearl was evil. Juna took care of him by comforting him and giving him water. Kino new it was evil but still wanted to continue his journey to the capital.
- When kino got mad at juna for taking the pearl kino left in anger and while away kino killed a man trying to save himself.They knew they were being hated on but when going home to clean up kino from his wounds they saw there house being burned down though they do not know who did it.They saved there son before he could get hurt.
- When one of the men in the mountain heard a cry and they thought it was a coyote but it was coyotito and they shot him.He shorty died after. Juna and kino through the pearl back into the ocean and they heard the sound of family.
