Lake on Titan

- This is what Titans lake was before, just when summer started. This lake was liquid. This lake is made up by molecules. The molecules are made up by two hydogen atoms and one oxygen atom.
- This is how water molecules look like. But combined they make one. In order to make a phase change happen between molecules such as, solid, liquid, gas, you either have to add energy in or remove energy The molecules in the lake have a medium attraction towards each other. Attraction is based on the energy, energy makes the molecules speed up. High attraction means it is a solid/ice and does not have energy. Medium attraction means it is liquid that has meadium energy and low attraction means it is gas because the energy added made the liqud or ice melt and evaporate and the molecules have freedom of movement and have a lot of energy. The lake right when summer started was liquid.
- This was the lake around 2007, as you can see it is still liquid. During summer lakes get more energy since its hotter outside and cause lakes to avaporate. But this lake did not evaporate. This lake got energy but not enough energy to overcome the the attraction. The kinetic energy was not fast enough to cause the lake to evaporate. So this lake stayed liquid.
