  • I wonder if I can put a bid on that land, everyone answers to money. I want to have my own land, but money is tight after the travel.
  • Before 1870, people lived in sod houses, conditions during this time were hard. Many had trouble with low supplies along with weather being inconsistent.
  • Jess: Hello there, I didn't see you standing behind meHarold: Sorry to startle you, I was just admiring your land, I'm new around here, you mind telling me what you got going on here?Jess: Yeah, no problem, this is my beautiful land. We have barbed wire going around my land so no unwanted people get in and try to steal, we also have ground water wells, wind mills, and steel plows to make the farming easier.

It was a nice train, It is how I got here.

  • Jess: I must warn you, these Indian Wars have gotten worse. The battle between new settlers and the natives. Settlement around here has it ups and downs, we do have an increase of cattle and crops but the cost is having clashes with the natives.Harold: Am I safe?Jess: Yes, as long as you don't upset the natives even more.
