- I don't know what to say. I love you Edward, you know I would do anything for you.
- As New Moon goes on, It has just been Bella's birthday. She turns 18, causing Edward's family to throw a party for her. At the party while opening a gift she gets injured, blood everywhere. Jasper (a new vampire) loses control and attacks Bella. In spite of saving Bella, Edward has reached her and says he didn't feel any connection between them. He also says he deserves better and Bella was simply there to help him realize that. Bella agrees but is in extreme shock by the news she has just received.

- Humans are capable of forgetting Bella, don't worry about me. You just were not good for me.
- Edward... don't leave me.
- Edward is seen to tell Bella that she must not do anything reckless. Before this Edward explains to his old lover that he does not want her in his life anymore. He admits to losing love for her, and that their relationship was nothing more but a few events in time. Bella tries to have Edward change his mind but he doesn't. After all this he promises she will never see him again.
- Goodbye Bella. Don't do anything reckless or stupid, just this once listen to me.
- Through the state of shock Bella has gotten into, she starts walking to try and find the lost appearance. Time passes and her fragile body becomes tired; causing her to faint and collapse wherever her body decided to. Her mind kept on replaying thoughts over the heartbreak she had just faced. She knew that after this there would be no healing, no moving forward.
- Be careful Charlie, don't drop her.
- Bella is found by a man named Sam Uley who is sent to rescue Bella by Charlie. As Bella is still in shock she remembers about her father's presence and how worried he must be. She receives help from Sam, who then takes Bella to Charlie. As Charlie sees Bella he is surprised by the way bella is acting. Continuously asking if Edward is truly gone. Sam goes with Charlie to their house, where he feels worried for Bella's state of mind.
- It's okay Bella, we are home. Rest and don't worry.
- As Bella arrives home, DR. Gerandy is waiting. The doctor asks what it is that happened and how she feels. She responds by saying that she simply got lost in the woods and felt a bit tired. Charlie is reassured by Gerandy that Bella just seems to be in exhaustion but he is not convinced. Charlie asks what happens and Bella then decides to confess. But before this the Dr mentions that the Cullens have left Forks.
- There is nothing to worry about. Bella is just showing signs of exhaustion.
- As Charlie begins to question Bella if Edward abandoned her in the forest, she dodges his question in the best possible way. She finds out she was found because she had left a note including her whereabouts when she was meeting up with Edward. Through this conversation she finds out that the Cullens lied to the public, stating they left Forks due to Carlisle gaining a job opportunity. The realization that Edward was not returning started a depressive state for Bella.
- Edward, did he leave you there?
- I have no idea where Edward has gone Charlie.
