- Each house checks eachother. The legislative branch checks the other branches by being able to impeach a president or one of the supreme court justices,
- The Legislative branch is in charge of making new laws
- Im the vice president, Kamala Haris. I am the leader of the Senate
- The Legislative Branch
- The lagislative branch is made up of the Senate and The house of representatives.
- In order to run for president you must be atleast 35 years old and have been born a citizen of the United States
- There are 15 departments in the Executive branch. The departments are also called the Presidents cabinet.
- The Excecutive Branch
- The President is allowed to make executive orders. The president is also allowed to nominate new judges for the Supreme court.
- Here in the oval office is where i decide to ratify or veto a law
- When you are elected as one of the judges you must serve untill you die or retire.
- There are 9 justices in the supreme court. They get to approve of a law ratified by the President. If the law is unconstitutional they can deny the law.
- The executive branch has 15 departments, also called the Presidents cabinet.
- The Judicial Branch
- This law seems unconstitutional!
- The supreme court only handles cases that have to do with your rights and the constitution.
- The supreme court is the highest ranking court in the country.
