  • So glad the Napoleonic Code give everyone equal rights.
  • Bruh
  • So glad I got the right to vote and have say in my family.
  • The comic basically shows the lack of freedom women had and the lack of rights. While men get to vote, maintain basic human rights, control over the entire family once they're a husband or father, and are more accommodated in the marriage system. Women are basically treated as second class citizens, within the comic you see Napoleon and a friend of his speaking of his new law. They both agree how glad they are to have the law in place that assist their own rights because they are both male and have more personal goals to follow for themselves because of it. Yet, in the middle with the female stating Bruh it highlights the irony of the situation. While Napoleon states that he's glad to have given EVERYONE equal rights, women are left with the short end of the stick and not even allowed the equality they deserve to vote or maintain their own head of household. Especially within the marriage system, if something that undergoes the category for reasoning of divorce of their spouse, it'll take longer for a female to get a divorce than if it were a male.
