- Welcome to a new beginning
- If the journey goes well this would be the last stop before freedom. Harriet tells everyone to bow their heads and says,"Shall God provide us with safe passage for now our senses need to be stronger, and we walk for those who could not join us. God show me the light so I can show them the way! Amen.” All together they said "Amen", and set off.
- I know we haven't known each other for long, but would you like to do this together
- After a 1,725 mile walk they finally reached the border of freedom, everyone so happy and excited they began to cross over running towards the town. Harriet tells them to keep down until they're in a safe location.

- That’s when they began walking through town seeing people just like them dress and talk with such respect for each other they were just amazed. Till they reached Uncle Tom's cabin where they were greeted with clothes and a "Welcome to a new beginning."
- Everyone's face has a smile even kwame that’s when Kwame grabs Rose by the hand and says,"I know we haven't known each other for long, but would you like to do this together " Rose in shock stands in silence for a minute then says, "yes, but as long as we take things slow".
- Kwame overjoyed and kissed Rose, and told her, "I can do that!" People began to crowd around Rose and Kwame applause because this is their first time seeing slaves use there freedom and not just for themselves but for one another.
- Everyone begins finding their room, while Rose and kwame stand outside smiling at what the future as freed slaves hold.
