- As Tom finds out that there is something going on with Gatsby and Daisy he want to go to lunch and Gatsby goes with Daisy.Tom, Nick, and Jordan ride in Gatsby's yellow Rolls Royce.
- Nick realizes its his 30th birthday
- As Tom and gatsby race towards the plaza Tom has to stop for gas and Nick and Jordan see myrtle staring towards them and Mr. Wilson is looking pale and sick.
- Daisy drives recklessly and hits and kills myrtle
- Tom, Gatsby, Nick, Daisy, and Jordan go to lunch and Tom notices that Daisy is cheating then Gatsby brings up that Daisy never loved tom she says it at first then when tom brings up times from the past she could not say it then Tom brings up Gatsby's bootlegging business. They all get mad and Daisy and Gatsby leave in his yellow car.

- Nick realizes that he turns 30 that day and he thinks of all the depressing things about becoming old but then he looks a jordan and realizes his life is fine.
- Daisy thought that driving would clear her mind while Mr. Wilson yells a Myrtle for cheating then she runs out thinking that Toms in the yellow car then Daisy hits her.
- Nick leaves the house after what happened with Myrtle and on his way out he spots Gatsby hiding in the bushes he asks him why did he hit Myrtle and drove off. Then Gatsby tells Nick that Daisy hit Myrtle and he is waiting so nothing bad happens to Daisy.
