- The Cherokee-British Treaty
- This is us making an alliance. I think us and the British great buddies now!
- Yes! We understand. No trading iwth the French.
- This treaty means that you can not trade with the French under no circumstances... Do you understand?
- 30 Years of Peace
- this is proving the point of my authority and showing acknowlegement between us....
- There is finally some peace!

- We want our land back!
- No! we want the Ohio River Valley!

- This treaty was a treaty that involved the Cherokee indians and the British. This treaty declared that the Cherokee will not be able to trade with the French. The Cherokee thought that this treaty was an alliance, a frendship. The British thought this treaty as a way of showing acknolegdment of Britsh rule. They believed very different things.
- British Deny Cherokee Protection
- We wanted your protection and you wont give it to us so we are just going to take your horses!
- I did not promise your protection! I sure am denying it! Not my horses!
- After the traty was signed there was 30 yers of peace. No wars or diagreements broke out between the British, French and Cherokee indians. The treaty decalred peace and did work for a long time(30 years!) Peace was then broken when the French and Indian war started.
- The Cherokee War
- Victory!!
- This war broke the 30 years of peace. The French and Indian war started in 1754 and ended in 1763. The war was between the British and French and Indians. This war started because the two parties were fighting over land in North America, specifically the Ohio River Valley. The British won this war an expanded their land.
- Outcome: Cherokee Lose Their Land
- We won the war and got some of the Cherokee land to add to our 13 colonies!
- The Cherokee expected protection from the British, but the British denied them that. The Cherokee felt like they had been cheated and so they retaliated. They stole British possesions like thier horses. The British retaliated back. This then leads to the Cherokee War.
- The Cherokee war starts when British Colonists deny Cherokee Indians protection. They both retaliated agaisnt each other and that started the Cherokee war. This war lasted for two years. Many Cherokee Indians died during this war. The outcome of the war were many Cherokee deaths, a lot of Cherokee land taken away, and British victory.
- The Cherokee war ends badly for the Cherokee Indians. Many Indians died during this war and they lost a great portion of their land. The Cherokee land was taken by the British and added to come parts of the 13 colonies.
