- Hello what would you like today?
- John has now been conditioned to hear his name as Jaun or anything similar that makes a sound similar to John. The worker pronouncing John's Name wrong would be the neutral stimulus because it is just a name and not relevant to conditioning and John's response to hearing that would be his unconditioned response and he would just be confused and ignore it. And ignoring it would be the unconditioned stimulus
- Coffee for a Juan is ready
- Wonder if they meant John
- Some Days later
- Hello what would you like today?
- I will just take a coffee please
- Because of John's past experience here he knows that his name will probably be pronounced wrong and is now conditioned to hearing his name as Jaun and now is a conditioned stimulus and his conditioned response would be to answer yes that's me.
- A Coffee for Jaun is ready
- Well I guess that's me
