I'm so sad that all my seaweed is in the ocean, I really hope it will grow. I hope that the plant will go through the process of respiration.
Don't worry, while the plant is growing it'll produce glucose, which inside the mitochondria with the presence of oxygen will break down and release ATP. So as long as the seaweed is receiving oxygen, it should be going through cellular respiration
I'm so sad that I'm about to be taken away to get eaten by humans, at least I'm growing because of the carbon the humans are releasing, and the sun rays giving me light energy and absorbing this water and oxygen
I can't wait to harvest the seaweed and eat it up, let me breathe on it so I will release carbon that the plant can use to develop.
While the sun was giving the seaweed light energy, the chloroplast converted the sunlight into a chemical energy and is synthesizing food with the carbon dioxide and water which is the process of photosynthesis
I'm so happy I can finally have miso soup with the delicious seaweed.
Since the seaweed was a plant and had eukaryotic cells, it didn't go through the process of fermentation, which is how bacteria cells (prokaryotic) go through anaerobic process to create chemical energy, or ATP.
