- Hi, I am gold I am a metal.Who are you, I usually don't see you around here. Tell me about your self.
- That's cool, Now I remember you.
- Oh hi, I am Diamond. I am a non-metal. You may know me I appear at the right side of the periodic table. I am basically the opposite of you I am a shapeless element and I am less shinier than you.
- Well what about you.
- Well I am used in various places like,To make cooking wares.In making electric appliances, electric wires, fridge etc.In manufacturing jewellery from gold, silver, coins and from copper, aluminum etc.
- That's so cool. So, what are you uses
- I am basically a hard, shiny, malleable, fusible, and ductile and I am used everywhere.
- Well am used in so many places tooHydrogen is used in the hydrogenation of vegetable oils to make vegetable ghee 2.Carbon in the form of graphite is used for making the electrodes of electrolytic cells and dry cells.Nitrogen is used in the manufacture of ammonia, nitric acid and fertilizers.
